Medi Herb Golden Seal 60 Tablets:

Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help alleviate infectious and inflammatory conditions of the digestive tract such as gastritis; as a bitter to aid digestion and to increase appetite (stomachic). Also traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve digestive disturbances such as dyspepsia and as a mild laxative.

Golden Seal active ingredients are especially hydrastine and berberine.

Ingredients: 

Each tablet contains:

Hydrastis canadensis (Golden Seal) root & rhizome 3:1 extract DHE: 500 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Calcium phosphate - dibasic - anhydrous, Colloidal silicon dioxide, Hypromellose, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline cellulose and Sodium Starch Glycolate.

Suggested Dose: Adults: 1 to 2 tablets 3 times daily or as directed by your health care practitioner. May take up to one week to produce beneficial effects.

Cautions:  Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have blood pressure problems or a kidney disorder. Consumption with alcohol, other medical agents and/or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
