Activated charcoal has been used primarily for its ability to bind and remove toxins and other compounds, including gases, from the body. The activation of charcoal creates a highly developed pore structure with a high surface area containing carbon moieties, such as carbonyl and hydroxyl groups. These moieties bind to a variety of toxins in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract within minutes of contact, thereby minimizing their systemic absorption.1 Activated charcoal binds to toxins without being absorbed and passes through the GI tract unchanged, without modifying the microbiome.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Gelatin, Glycerin, Lecithin, Purified Water.

Purity: Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or sweeteners; no dairy, starch, sugar, wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, corn, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nuts or GMOs

Suggested Dose: Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 2–4 softgels after meals, as needed. May be repeated in 2 hours. Do not take more than 16 softgels in 24 hours

Cautions: Do not use in children under 12 years of age except on the advice of a doctor AND within 2 hours of another medical agents as the effect of them may be reduced. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms reoccur or last more than 2 weeks. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
