Chaga is a mushroom that is typically found on birch trees. It’s a fungi restricted to cold habitats at latitudes 45°N – 50°N. It can typically be found in Russia, Siberia, Scandinavia and Canada.

Many bioactive compounds have been identified in Chaga mushroom including: polysaccharides, polyphenols, triterpenoids, ergosterol peroxides, inotodial, betulinic acid.
