N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is an amino acid that boosts antioxidant function. NAC is a source of the conditionally essential amino acid L-cysteine and is a precursor to the tripeptide glutathione, an essential intracellular antioxidant.

Glutathione is an important antioxidant used in many different metabolic processes within the body. Maintaining adequate levels is important to supporting antioxidant protection.

Chronic Bronchitis and NAC: NAC provides effective mucolytic and anti-inflammatory properties, helping to restore cellular balance by reducing inflammation in chronic respiratory conditions through the inhibition of pathways that trigger oxidative stress and pro-inflammatory gene activity.

Each capsule contains:

N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) 500 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypromellose, Magnesium stearate, Silicon dioxide, Stearic acid.

Suggested Dose: Adults: 1 capsule, 2 times per day. Take with meals. Consult a health care practitioners for use beyond 6 months.
