Targeted vitamin and mineral formula to promote bone strength and health. Provides nutrients needed for healthy structure and function of bone tissue.

High isoflavone intake has bone-sparing effects. Research suggests that genistein helps manage the metabolic imbalance in bone tissue induced by ovarian hormone depletion, an important fact since the primary type of osteoporosis affects postmenopausal women. Genistein is a phytoestrogen that acts as a mild SERM (selective estrogen receptor modulator) which may positively regulate bone cell metabolism without serious side effects.

Ingredients:

Each capsule contains:

Calcium (Dicalcium malate) 100 mg
Magnesium (Dimagnesium malate) 100 mg
Genistein (Japanese Sophora Extract-fruit) 13.5 mg
Zinc (Zinc bisglycinate) 2 mg
Vitamin K1 (Phytonadione) 25 mcg
Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 6.25 mcg
Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone 4) 5 mcg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypromellose, dicalcium phosphate, stearic acid (vegetable source). 

Purity: Does not contain gluten, dairy, soy or GMOs.

Suggested Dose: Post-menopausal women: 2 capsules 2 times per day with food, or as directed by a physician. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond one year.

Cautions: Ensure you are up-to-date on mammograms and gynaecological evaluations prior to use. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinners, if you have a history of endocrine or gynaecological disease, including ovarian malignancies, endometriosis, and/or uterine fibroids, if you have a liver disorder or develop liver-related symptoms (e.g. abdominal pain, jaundice, dark urine), if you are taking HRT, including for thyroid. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience breast pain, discomfort and/or tenderness, or if you experience a recurrence of menstruation and/or uterine spotting. Do not use if you currently have or previously had breast malignancy and/or a mass, if you have a predisposition to breast malignancy, as indicated by an abnormal mammogram and/or biopsy, or a family member with the history of breast malignancy. Some people may experience diarrhea.
