Description
AOR MethylB12 - 5 mg 60 Lozenges:
Helps prevent vitamin B12 deficiency for those at risk; in a form of lozenge for enhanced absorption; provides clinically effective dosage of the most bioavailable form of vitamin B12 .
Methylcobalamin is the active, coenzyme form of vitamin B12. Cyanocobalamin, the most common form of supplemental B12, must be converted first into hydroxocobalamin, and then into adenosylcobalamin and methylcobalamin depending on where it is being used. Since cyanocobalamin has to undergo this extensive conversion process, supplementation with methylcobalamin is preferable, and it is also the specific form of B12 in red blood cells, and throughout the nervous system.
Methyl B12 easy to take lozenge making it ideal for those who have neurological conditions or nerve problems. Vegetarians, elderly people, those suffering from pernicious or megaloblastic anemia, atrophic gastritis, Celiac disease, Crohn’s disease or other types of inflammatory gastrointestinal disorders are at greater risk for B12 deficiency.
